Hong Kong

We have walked and walked and walked…and shopped and shopped and shopped!

It has been a flying visit but we have had a lot of fun wandering the streets – filled with everything from antiques to the latest whiz bang inventions.

We have followed a couple of different of walking tours that have taken us into a whole range of neighbourhoods.

Keryn`s favourite was the colourful “Flower Market Street” – stall upon stall of gorgeous flowers, wonderful aromas, and amazing greenery. The orchids were stunning, the lotus flowers massive and the lilies smelt incredible!

Logan`s favourite was “Upper Lascar Street” – where antique shops overflowed on to the streets and shoppers crawled amongst the nick-nacks. If only we needed a 1 metre tall hand painted ceramic statue of Chairman Mao!!! We found a lovely traditional Chinese dresser but $700 to ship it home was a little ridiculous for a $270 antique!
