Hello world!

Introducing the Akers Family… four intrepid Kiwis travelling the world. As a family we have decided to take 2024 off and simply travel the world – continually travelling East from New Zealand until we get back.

Zara, the youngest is 9 years old. She loves hanging with friends and exploring the world, both inside and outside of her mind.

Lucas is 13, it was a tough decision for him to leave his friends for a year but his adventurous spirit drives him.

Keryn (Mum) has a love of the outdoors and a deep understanding of the world around her. She is a teacher with a Masters Degree in Marine Science and a passion for Nature.

Logan (Dad), is the oldest and has been active in the outdoors his entire life. Logan works as a fire fighter and is a qualified outdoor instructor. We all grew up in New Zealand and love exploring locally and globally.
