Tamsyn started flying aircraft 5 years ago and juggled a busy family, work and church life with flying lessons, study, theory exams and practical flying test.
She became a Christian at 15 years old in 1989 attending the same church as Andy. They met up and have been together ever since, marrying in 1992 and having their first daughter in 1998 and second daughter in 2002 after immigrating to New Zealand from the UK.
Together with Andy they have been very active in the community and church, fulfilling tasks such as treasurer of a preschool and a church, teaching children’s groups, running a toy shop with Andy and running long distance races for charity, including a 10km run over the Sydney Harbour Bridge and two 12km runs over the Auckland Harbour Bridge.
Tamsyn is a bit of an adrenaline junkie and loves scary and extreme rides and has an eye on some aerobatics training in special light aircraft in the future. She also is a keen scuba diver, rock climber and ball room dancer.
More often than not, Tamsyn helps Andy in his numerous projects from car and motorbike displays at shows, marathon running events for charity and bee keeping.
They are both presently studying for their Diploma in Theology and Christian Studies on a long distance learning course.
